Swimming Pool Heating Project

We recently had the pleasure of assisting Clearwater Pools on a complex and rewarding project at a renowned members’ club in Oxfordshire. This installation showcases our expertise in designing and implementing high-efficiency heating solutions for large-scale commercial facilities.

The core of this project involved designing and installing a sophisticated hybrid heating system. The goal was to achieve superior control and greater flexibility when heating large volumes of water consistently throughout the year.

We successfully integrated the club’s existing district heating network with powerful, newly added heat pumps. This hybrid setup ensures optimal performance: the district heating provides the initial boost to quickly bring the pool up to the required temperature, while the new heat pumps take over to maintain that temperature with maximum energy efficiency—a truly modern solution for year-round operation.

As is common with any major, complex project, challenges arose during the integration phase. However, our commitment to partnership ensured a smooth outcome. Thanks to the strong collaboration between our specialist team, the main contractors, and all other subcontractors on site, every challenge was handled smoothly and successfully, resulting in a system that operates seamlessly and efficiently.
